Data Processing Agreement

Scope & Applicability

This DPA applies whenever JTG Systems processes identifiable organizational data on behalf of a commercial client during enterprise deployments, cloud migrations, backup validation, or bench diagnostics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Client (Data Controller): Retains legal ownership and authority over data assets, ensuring a lawful basis for collection, processing, and transmission to JTG Systems.
• JTG Systems (Data Processor): Handles, accesses, and migrates client data strictly under written service agreements and documented technical work orders.

Technical & Organizational Measures

JTG Systems maintains rigorous security controls including physical access barriers to repair benches, encrypted transfer protocols, air-gapped forensic recovery drives, and strict role-based technician access.

Sub-Processors & Vendor Governance

Where cloud storage providers or logistics vendors are engaged to fulfill enterprise contracts, JTG Systems ensures each sub-processor maintains equivalent data confidentiality and privacy guarantees.

Data Subject Rights & Audit Support

JTG Systems assists commercial controllers in responding to individual access, rectification, or deletion requests under applicable privacy statutes including PIPEDA.

Security Incidents & Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a verified security incident impacting client data assets, JTG Systems will notify the designated client point of contact without undue delay.
